Originally from Yorkshire, Joe Robbins is a musician, composer and music producer living in London. Growing up under the guidance of his musician father, Joe was exposed to a broad array of musical instruments and experiences through his childood. His compositions are often piano or synth led and underpinned with thoughtful, playful electronica. He has a mature and natural sense for mood, melody and atmosphere and is quick to get to the heart of what needs to be conveyed within his compositional work.

Joe’s solo work and colloboration sees him pursuing his more experimental tendencies along with his talent for traditional songwriting. Often driven by his soulful and haunting vocal performances, his music can vary between more intimate and restrained pieces to something more danceable with a production trickery of his own. Often lyrical and explorative subjects include love, flow, choice, regret and the beauty of being.

He works out of his studio in Brockley, South London, and this year was the happy recipient of the DISCOVERY AWARD at Dublin International Film Festival 2024.
